I’m Fernando, a cybersecurity enthusiast from Brazil, deeply passionate about this ever-evolving universe of technology.
Throughout my life, computers have always held a special place in my heart. As a result, during the 2019 pandemic, I truly found my calling: cybersecurity!
I’ve been working in the IT field for about 2 years now, striving to acquire the necessary expertise to become a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) both in Brazil and worldwide!
During my journey, I explored various aspects of cybersecurity, searching for the perfect fit that aligns with my work style and preferences!
Ultimately, I discovered my affinity for the blue team, the defenders🛡️, the professionals that play a crucial role in safeguarding the digital assets from threat actors! ☠️
Since then, I’ve been continuing to develop my skills and contribute to the security of organizations! 💪🏻
However, in early 2023, I had a breakthrough moment and found my true passion within the cybersecurity field: Cloud Security! ☁️🔒
My goal is not to limit myself to a single cloud provider, but rather to gain expertise across the four major players in the industry: AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI!
Initially, I’ll be dedicating all my cloud training efforts in AWS, as it will be the primary cloud platform that I’ll specialize in!
Subsequently, when I feel comfortable with AWS, I plan to expand my expertise to other cloud providers, most likely Azure as my secondary provider! 🙃
With this blog, I want to give you valuable insights, knowledge, and guidance to feel more confident on how to secure the cloud for FREE!
I hope to inspire, inform, and influence you on the importance of cloud security while sharing my own experiences as I continue to dig into this fascinating subject!
Although I might be writing some perhaps complex blog post, please bear in mind that I’m not an expert in Cloud Security!
I know it won’t be an easy task, but I know it’ll be fun!
